There are several factors to take into account when purchasing a steel building. Below is a list of the most common questions we encounter about the steel buildings that we carry.

How much snow can your steel structures handle?

Our steel buildings and structures can meet all Canadian snow load requirements.

Will your steel buildings blow away in the wind?

No, if you follow our instruction manual for anchoring our steel buildings will be fine.

Do your steel buildings condensate inside?

Our steel structures all come with roof insulation and vapor barrier to eliminate this.

What is included in the price for your steel structures and detached garage packages?

We include instruction manual, frame, sheeting, flashing, garage door, exterior grade steel passage door, roof insulation and vapor barrier, anchors, screws, gaskets, caulking in all of our prefab steel building packages. All components are included to compete the installation.

What is a Quonset and why are they cheaper than your steel buildings?

A Quonset is a formed panel that is bolted together typically in a dome shape and requires a foundation. They are cheaper for a couple of reasons. They usually include the front frame only of the building and not the sheeting, Garage Door, or Man door. Insulation is also not included in the base price of these buildings.

What is the difference between your steel buildings and other steel buildings on the market?

All other steel buildings you see online are typically Quonset style buildings or Red Iron steel.

Are these Temporary steel structures?

They can be classified as temporary or permanent steel structures.

Do I need a permit to build one of your steel buildings?

That is your choice, we can however provide you with all documentation for a permit to construct one of our steel buildings.

Are your steel buildings pre-engineered steel buildings?

Yes, we only carry pre-engineered steel buildings, and can be specifically tailored by our in house engineers to meet your local requirements.

How long does it take to get one of your steel buildings?

We carry stock for all steel buildings up to 30 feet wide. Once your order is placed it is ready for pick-up or delivery within 3 weeks (for steel buildings over 30 wide allow 6 weeks for delivery)

Do I need to hire someone to install this steel building?

No, these steel buildings are designed with the "Do It Yourself" person in mind. We do offer installation if you choose.

Is this product made offshore or in North America?

We are proud to say that all the components we use are made in North America.

Is there a warranty on your steel buildings?

The Frame is 20 years Sheeting 40 years Screws 15 years.
